How to manually assign an operator to a Voucher or Redemption Control Group?

If you have a TROPHiT Developer account, you can manually assign a voucher to be associated to a registered VDM partner that has access to your account. This ensures, as the VDMP program guarantees, that you do not pay TROPHiT for any redemptions coming from any self-service VDM partners you work with (which do not offer any human operators for your voucher activity and therefore cannot create vouchers themselves).

To manually assign/un-assign a voucher to/from a VDM partner:

  1. Ensure the VDM partner has access to the advertiser's account - either the partner should request access from the advertiser or the advertiser should invite a registered member of the VDM partner to their account.
Note: if this step is not performed, the next steps cannot be performed.

  2. When creating a new voucher or editing an existing one, select the appropriate partner from the Operator dropdown list at the top-right corner of the page. For example:

  3. Don't forget to Save Changes if you are editing an existing voucher

  4. If a voucher is assigned to a VDM partner, the registered VDM partner users that are allowed to operate the advertiser's account receive a notification email about the newly-assigned voucher

  5. To un-assign a voucher from a VDM partner, an advertiser should simply select (self-operating) from the Operator list. In such a case, the registered VDM partner users that are allowed to operate the advertiser's account receive a notification email about the un-assignment

  6. Important: You should not use vouchers that are assigned to a specific operator with any other operators at the same time.

To manually assign/un-assign a Redemption Control Group (RCG) to/from a VDM partner:

  1. When creating a new RCG or editing an existing one, select the appropriate partner from the Operator dropdown list. For example:

  2. Don't forget to Confirm Changes

  3. If a RCG is assigned to a VDM partner, the registered VDM partner users that are allowed to operate the advertiser's account receive a notification email about the newly-assigned RCG. Important: this action also unassigns all vouchers from the RCG automatically, because RCGs, like vouchers, cannot be shared by multiple operators

  4. To un-assign a RCG from a VDM partner, an advertiser should simply select (self-operating) from the Operator list. In such a case, the registered VDM partner users that are allowed to operate the advertiser's account receive a notification email about the un-assignment. Important: this action also unassigns all vouchers from the RCG automatically, because RCGs, like vouchers, cannot be shared by multiple operators
